This month is National Water Safety month.

The Josh Project is hosting our 1st Annual Water Safety Day! We have received a Proclamation from Mayor Mike Bell in recognition of our outstanding achievements that reflect on the well-being and growth of the Toledo community and its citizens".
In partnership with:
- The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron
- U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary, W.L. Erie Division 16
- Toledo Fire Fighters Dive & Rescue Team
- UT Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity
- Toledo Chapter of American Red Cross
- and Scuba Diving demonstrations
Watch students learn to swim and sign up for your own! The first 100 new students to enroll will have their registration fee waived!

The Josh Project Needs Volunteers for Water Safety Day
Calling all caring adults and teens!
Would you like to help make water safety day a success?
We need you to help with the following tasks:
- Swim lesson registration: Assist new students with registration
- Pool Patrol: Monitor the pool area and make sure everyone stays safe
- Set-Up: Help set up displays
- Breadown: Help breakdwon displays and clean up
- Assist with Safe Swimmer Plegde: Encourage participants to sign the "I'm a Safe Swimmer Pledge" and give away wristbands
- Guest Services: Collect contact information from those who would like to join our mailing list
Volunteers are needed to serve beginning at 12:00pm until finish. We ask that you commit to serving at least 1 hour, more if you'd like.
Volunteers will receive a FREE Josh Project T-Shirt, warm fuzzy feelings and our many thanks!
