Since The Josh Project's inception child drownings have been on the decline. In fact, there weren't any child drownings in Lucas County in 2011 during the most dangerous times of the year, May through September.

We attribute this accomplishment to education and awareness in the community. We would like to continue this streak and hopefully achieve ZERO child drownings in our service area for the entire year.
